Dr. S M Abdul Alim son of Md. Kiamot Ali Shah & Mst. Altafunnesa born in Bogra, He completed his MBBS degree from Rangpur Medical College in 1998. And MD(Anaesthesia) from Dhaka Medical College in 2008 Now he is working as Senior Consultant and Head of the Department of Anaesthesia, Pain & ICU, in Central Police Hospital, Razarbag, Dhaka since 2004. He is well reputed Anaesthesiologist and ICU Specialist in Bangladesh. He enjoy challenging and difficult cases of anaesthesia. He is the first man in Bangladesh who co-ordinate complete transected hand reconstruction surgery. He play a vital role for modernisation of Central Police Hospital Anaesthesia, Pain & ICU department. Formerly He work as a Associate Professor of Anaesthesiology in Ad-din Women Medical College, Mogbazar, Dhaka. He also work as a Senior Lecturer of Pharmacology in Zahurul Islam Medical College, Bazitpur, Kisorgong. He has experience as a CA in Department of Surgery in Zahurul Islam Medical College. He has lot of National & International publication in the field of Anaesthesia, Pain & ICU. He is married and has one daughter & one son. His wife Mst. Dil Afroza Khatun working as Associate Professor in the department of Mass-communication and Journalism in Rajshahi University.
